Great stereo for the price!
Great power and great sound! Just added it to my 2009 Charger. Love it! Apple Carplay works great! Was going to add an amp but it doesn't need it. Upgraded the speakers. Phone calls work great! Works like my stereo in my 2019 Ram. Perfect match! With CD Players on endangered species list, this unit helps save my need to throw in an old disc! Still has iPod or iPhone connection. Be Patient with the inconvenient Updates, and you will be very happy with this Unit.
I purchased for my 2014 Mustang. I removed my old Kenwood 770 which did EVERYTHING (( Except.. integrate with my Apple iPhone 7, & no Apple CarPlay. So, based on that alone I chose to change to the Pioneer AVH1300NEX, install wasn’t too bad, (( Except.. the steering wheel controls were a nightmare to flash, as I do NOT own a WINDOWS computer. ((no one will up front offer this info )) but the Metra adapter has to be RE-FLASHED, then.. if you are an Apple devotee, you are S.O.L. !! As the Metra site flash and updates are 100% windows based.. NO Apple support, So off to a local install shop to PAY them to Flash the Metra adapter.. then as driving around, the pioneer unit Will Shut it’s self OFF, Once after every fresh start, where it will reboot its self( same 2-3 minute time interval EVERY TIME you start the car.) Pioneer said to drive to a shop, have the update the firmware!! Once the Pioneer Firmware was done, and the Metra RR was Flashed.. EVERYTHING.. worked GREAT !! Was just a PAIN IN THE ASS to get the updates done, But over all .. worth it in the end.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
