Great Lavalier recorder in a small package
I use this to run a lavalier mic for real estate videos I shoot. I've never seen the battery go below full, so battery life is excellent, and it has internal about 40 hours recording time at the highest MP3 quality which is very excellent. I haven't found the need to install a micro SD. I have a Zoom H1 I was using, but the input jack quality on this is indistinguishable from the H1. Now this is talking lavalier only, the external mics on this would be useful more just for a talking/dictation environment, not for a real life sound reproduction and don't stand up to the H1 in that regard. The form factor being so small, and no batteries or sd cards to worry about, plus the input jack comes out of the top, so it fits easily in a pocket, makes this perfect for my purposes. Great bang for the buck.
No fussing around. Pick a category of what you want to record and enter it on the menu screen and the recorder does the rest. I've owned high dollar recorders that were so fancy I never really understood how to set them up properly.
