Overall, a great product!!!
This is my first-ever experience using an epilator and I'm very pleasantly surprised with the results! I'd done a lot of pre-reading on the various brands, recognizing this as a higher end one as far as the cost goes, but I'm happy I decided to go for the splurge since the quality shows. I also anticipated it being somewhat painful, and the loud whirring it gives off makes it a bit intimidating at first, but it's certainly not as painful as waxing. I was more aware of the pain when I used it over longer, overgrown hairs, so I'd suggest using it when the hair is fairly short. If you've done waxing before, you'll know that the cost of this item pays for itself after the first couple uses. Good Epi Bad Batteries
Please understand this is in no way a reflection of this particular product but Braun epilators in general. This one works as advertised and I am happy with it and the seller. This is a great epilator but the batteries don't hold up very long. It is one of the least painful epi's I have ever tried. I am however on my 3rd on in 4 years the last one only lasted since Sept. of 2017 and is on it's way back to see if they will stand up to the implied warranty.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Effective and powerful tool
I'd been using the same Emjoi EpiSlim since I was 15, and finally decided it was time to update. After some research online, this unit was very highly recommended, but I was still skeptical that it would be significantly better than my simple little epilator. I WAS SO WRONG, and I am so happy I have upgraded. The tweezers pull hair at a much more comfortable and effective angle, and the power of the motor makes it as easy to use as an electric shaver. Can be used on legs, bikini area, underarms, and face - comes with many attachments for maximum comfort and ease. Easy and quick to swap and clean the parts. Breaks half of the hairs
My legs still feel prickly after epilating. For a 150,00 device and the pain you have to go through I had imagined it would pull all or most hairs from the root but not really, maybe half of the hairs are pulled, the rest break and you can feel them. You do look "hairless" after a up to a week later, but never stops feeling prickly. It's quite disappointing. I have yet to do it on my bikini area as I don't want to go through the pain and then have prickly skin there too.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Better than waxing!
I've been waxing for 20 years, since I was 16. It gets expensive!! Had I only just gone for Electrolosys I'd be done with all this... nevertheless, I haven't gotten Electrolosys yet. I recently haven't had the time or energy to wax myself, and frankly it's messy doing it at home. This works well & is worth the investment. It's so much easier than the messy wax kits. Great epilator
this is replacing my Braun epilator that is at least 15 years old and still working but could have used a new tweezer head but is now obsolete. The new tweezer system is so much gentler and plucks much shorter hair, leaving nice smooth legs! I prefer this one even over the Braun facial epilator although it is not ideal for eyebrows due to its size. Better than shaving!
Awesome after you get used to using them. Use it wet and soaped up. But, don't drop it....I had one lose high speed after a drop. Much better when used wet and souped up. After a few sessions, it gets MUCH easier and less painful. I recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
