Permethrin Spray
Local DEC agents use this to keep off anything that bites or crawls on them. It can't be used directly on skin and can be toxic to pets and wildlife so you need to take precautions with using it. In my neck of the woods, the black flies, mosquitoes, and ticks are the worst I've seen in years! I can use deet spray all day long and still won't work. The silver bullet for ticks.
I have used this product for years in the Canadian Forces and it repelled ticks like nothing I have ever seen. I purchased a pump unit for use on my dog; its pretty safe for animals and the site has instructions for use on animals. We have a horrendous tick season here and I have noticed a terrific reduction in the amount of ticks on my dog. I also purchased the aerosol cans for use on clothing. Excellent for being insect free
Great product. I used inside my Jeep where I use for camping. Had an issue with spiders and now completely gone along with any other creepy crawling insects.
