EASY TO USE
Citristrip is very easy to use and efficient. For most finishes, a single application has worked for me. I have found some finishes take several applications to remove so with a little patience, it has removed all finishes I have tried it on. Being a gel, it isn't so messy and being safe to use inside is a big factor in choosing it to start with. This is the second quart I have purchased and have used it on furniture and gunstocks with great results. The only caution I would mention is to err on leaving it on a shorter period than a longer time. Very easy to remove when still soft and semi-liquid but takes more effort to remove and could be detrimental to delicate wood when dried trying to remove. Almost great, but it fills a need
I would prefer a citrus based stripper with a higher percentage of the active ingredient, but it does work well and is much safer and more pleasant to use. Worked reasonably well to remove old spray paint from metal and plastic. I tested the plastic first to make sure it was safe, it may not be for other types. As with other strippers, it is best to just apply it and let it work as long as you can without letting it dry. Washed of easily with water. Pleasant smell and lack of fumes allows use inside without a lot of precautions, just be smart about it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I ran out of this last week so I went to lowes to get more but I think they stopped stocking it so I bought a different stripper, what a mistake that was.. this is the best stripper I have used that doesnt leave a lot of fumes in fact it can be used inside without being a fire hazard.. Excellent to use on wood
Excellent for removing all kind of pain from wood without harming it. I used it for my old wood furniture and very satisfied with it. It works well but you might need to coat the wood 2-3 times.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Powerful!
I am using this to remove excess grout sealer from tile. I put it on with a paint brush, and wipe it away seconds later. Accidentally got some on the paintbrush handle, and it stripped the paint from that, too. Much better than I expected, highly recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

used to strip an tub
an old tub that had an epoxy finish on it that I tried everything to move it. nothing worked. and some had fumes that would make you sick, I had to stop because they were that bad.
