Lovely quiet and efficient machine
Bought as a replacement for a 10 yr old Bosch, I was amazed at how quiet the machine is, (admittedly the bearings were going in my old one as it sounded like a 747 taking off when spinning!) It looks smart, the controls are familiar if you have had a Bosch before, all the settings can be varied, speed, temp, water use, choice of eco or speed, delay timer etc. As long as the water is below the glass door you can pause , open and throw in an extra item mid wash. Back to the quietness, when it washes, you hear virtually no motor noise, just the sloshing of the clothes in the water, when it spins, there is just a hum/whine that is really not intrusive. Clothes come out well spun (up to 1400) I saw a review where someone obviously hadn't read the manual and complained of the combines rinse/drain/spin setting, if you just want a drain, turn off speed and aqua, if you just want a spin, turn off aqua, leaving as is for a full rinse. Overall really impressed. The current price norm at time of writing is £350 and I would happily pay that but more discounts can be had for shopping around or waiting for relevant eBay deals!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for money.
While I wouldn't apply the word 'amazing' to this product, it is excellent and certainly is living up to my expectations. It replaces an old faithful of many years and has happily and successfully done so. The instructions could be a little more explicit, especially for those of us who are not familiar with up-to-date functions. That said, learning through doing is the way to go! It is quiet and comes with all the functions and programmes that I require. It is too early to comment on efficiency regarding power or water consumption but I hope it lives up to its rating. The powder drawer is a little sticky, which is annoying. The trim on the door is a bit obvious for my liking but that is forgiven by the general overall performance. The installation is tricky and requires both knowledge and strength but does not require the services of a professional, merely a strong and competent diy-er.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Looks good, performs well, doesn't move, is quiet, lots of cycles.
After a disastrous few months with a not fit for purpose BEKO machine I decided to go for the Bosch based on reviews and a fair bit of research. Firstly it's quiet and doesn't move during spin (I have wooden floors so this can be a problem sometimes). Also the drainage hose and filter are easy to use and doesn't flood the kitchen floor when using (unlike the BEKO!). Lots of cycles to choose from. I generally go with the mixed load which does 4kg of washing in either 45mins or 1hr 15mins depending on eco or fast setting. Really pleased with purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

What's not to like
Am very pleased so far, have only had it for a week. Was very dubious when I got it at such a good price. However it's a quality item and I feel confident and in control, as you can decide what temperature, spin speed and it has a quick wash. Also senses how much water depending on the load. Best machine had in 3o years.
Great machine, has performed very well. Couple of niggles but nothing disastrous, If you want to wash on a lower temp and shorter time the weight allowed drops from 8kg to 5kg or even lower, which defeats the object of buying a bigger machine. Also when you put it on a duvet wash it says it needs to 2kg max which seems odd for a duvet, haven't tried this yet. Spins lovely and quiet washes all items very well, better than my last machine which was horrible all round although it was a different brand. so far will buy this brand in the future.
