Overall a good hose system.
A good value, good length hose from a trusted brand. The setting up instructions are very easy to follow and the components are of good quality. The only slight niggle is that because the hose is rubberised rather than being reinforced, it does have a tendency to kink and therefore temporarily cut off the water flow whilst you are moving around the garden. Too big for its boots
I wanted a long hose for a long garden, so the 50 metre hose on a hose reel looked good. The hose was advertised as non-kink but unfortunately kinks in several places. It was even pre-kinked as I unrolled it from the reel for the first time. I would say that the reel is designed for a 25 metre hose. It is quite lightweight and it takes a lot of brute strength to put one foot on the base and crank the winder to get it to wind the hose on. It took ten minutes and I get pretty wet from the end of their hose trickling all the time. Disappointing, compared with the wall mounted version I had previously but it was stolen from the wall, hence the decision to use a trolley reel that could be locked away. Not really fit for purpose - a 50 metre hose is too unwieldy for this type of reel.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent quality item making life easier.
Excellent easy to move around hose. Seems very robust and comes with all the fittings you need. if I had one little downside it would be the pulling handle doesn't extend long enough so you are bending over whilst pulling. Smaller folks of course would be fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Poor quality. Avoid.
Hazelock seem to have cornered the market in garden hoses and they're not cheap. So I thought I was buying a quality product. Far from it. The hosecart is light and flimsy. The extendable handle doesn't stay extended. The hose kinks constantly and for little reason - contantly unkinking it. Hozelock / Trolley and 50 meter hosepipe system + fittings.
I bought this for an elderly friend who needed a mobile hose pipe system for garden wavering etc. When I first inspected this item I was surprised to see how lightweight and flexible the construction of Hozelock products have now become as compared to the earlier products they produced and that I own and the comparison is alarming to say the least. The hosepipe grade supplied with this model is thin and will kink easily in use which is another pain to deal with. You can register your purchase with Hozelock which gives you a two year warranty but I think you will need it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great, does exactly what I need and really good quality
It's a great product with a decent amount of hose. It's everything needed really. I didn't want the hassle of a wall mounted unit right now and wanted something mobile that can go from the back garden to the front. The fittings are good, particularly the Aqua Stop connector that stops you getting drenched when you swap sprayers. The piping is also reinforced to prevent kinks which it mostly succeeds in doing. I had an XHose before this which was very convenient and tidied away nicely but it punctured a few days ago so I won't be buying that again. Missing an ‘anti kink spring’
Good quality. However, the hose was missing an ‘anti kink spring‘, which most Hozelock reels seem to come with these days, and unlike the smaller 30m reels there was no groove in the drum to feed the hose smoothly on to the reel without it getting crushed by the rest of the hose winding on to it. This means that you either have to buy a Hozelock “Reel/Cart service Kit”, at £13 from Hozelock, which amongst many other unneeded service items contains the much needed ‘anti kink spring’, or unwind the whole 50m of hose so as to get full pressure at the spray head. Easy to Reel
