Good small sander
Good small sander, nice amount of power, vibration not too high. Good weight to it, this also depends on which battery is used though. Single speed seems fine from my experience. Save your money and look at alternatives.
This sander is nothing like as good as the previous model. It is not as well balanced, it is not particularly comfortable to use but most importantly removing the battery is virtually impossible without the aid of some sort of additional hand tool. Another little green gem
I have been a user of ryobi 18 v cordless tools for over 15 years, the first ever cordless drill is still in working order though had been superseded by the newer green colour tools and brushless technologyI have been pleased with their one battery policy and was also impressed when we moved to lithium ion batteries they were backwards compatible meaning all my existing devices could be used until I was ready to upgrade even being able to pass down tools that could be kept with new batteries well done Ryobi you let us make the decisions unlike dewalt ,etc who leave you with different batteries and charging stations each timeVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Great little sander

Why pay more

Don’t ask too much
As a light sander it’s great, for ‘keying’ gloss work it’s amazing. Just don’t expect it to remove large amounts of paint/varnish. Get the orbital if you need it for that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
