Very difficult to get rosehip syrup these days, if you're unable to collect rosehips and make your own! This oldie remembers the big bottles of the delicious stuff we got as youngsters after the war, yummy. Sugar syrup with 10% juice concentrate.
Very disappointing. I was hoping this would be like the "Delrosa" of old - but no, it is a sugar syrup with 10% concentrated rosehip juice. It's not horrible - don't get me wrong - but for a flavoured sugar syrup it is very expensive and tastes nothing like the original used to. It's like comparing Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice with "squash made from sugar, water and 10% concentrated orange juice. Not horrible, but NOTHING like the original "bursting with flavour". If you just want a pricey alternative to jam, for your rice pudding - go for it - if you are after something you would consider as a substitute for Delrosa,especially for the health benefits and suitability for tots, then you need to keep on looking.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
