Work good, lots of glue, takes a little time.
(239087 rear drum seal) This worked good with my 29" capacity dryer. The drum diameter is about 26.5 " at the lip. The seal length is about 82.75" long. I used the supplied glue and clothespin method to hold the seal in place. I squeezed glue onto drum outer surface and smoothed out with finger using plastic glove in 2 foot radial sections, let dry for about 2 min. and pressed seal onto lip and hold with many clothespins. Don't glue stitched seal section at end since you don't want to over stretch in last section and break stitching. Stretch seal slightly as you continue to glue in 2 foot sections until finished. Check seal is pushed tight all the around and let glue cure for 1 hours and remove pins. I think I let it finish cure overnight. Install drum and ensure seal is installed/flared outward proper on back side of dryer. Rotate drum by hand to check. Takes a little time but works great. There is lots of glue. Try not to get glue all over. Best to get another helping hand if you can.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good drum seal junk adhesive
The drum seal is of good quality but the adhesive is not. This is not a high heat adhesive that is required for use in a dryer. It is a contact cement only rated to 150 degree's . If your going to buy this drum seal you will need to purchase a different adhesive. OEM rules!! my dryer is like new
OEM felt seal installed on my rear dryer drum. removed the old seal and scrapped off the old cement residue using a putty knife. the seal kit came with OEM contact cement. first position the seal around the drum by stretching it around the circumference making sure to get the groove positioned along the drum edge. then apply contact cement provided along part of the drum attach then move to the next area taking care to assure no gaps and repeat until done. let the cemented seal dryVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great fit
The felt seal fit perfectly and came with the cement. Can be an easy install for the mechanically inclined. Does take a little work. The drum must be removed and the old seal removed. You may have to sand around the edge of the drum to remove and smooth out the old cement. Take a small section at a time, maybe 12 inches at a time, apply cement and press felt into place. It's not a quick job. Not a hard job, just takes time. The seal is a tight fit around the drum and may have to be stretched a little at the end. Well worth the price and the effort to restore the back seal at a reasonable price and can be done yourself. May be a good idea to replace the drum rollers, belt, and tension roller, since the drum is out anyway. I sprayed the rear cabinet where the seal rides with a little silicone spray to insure a smooth easy glide for my new seal. I highly recommend this producet by ERP. Great buy
I am so happy I bought this and saved money verses buying a brand new one. I had to cut out a couple of inches and resew it together which was no problem at all. My dryer is sooo quiet now. Also, there is no more heat loss and the lint filter is catching the lint again. Everything is back to normal, I'm so happy. I watched a few YouTube videos on the installation and was good to go.
