Very quiet, good capacity
This replaced another manufacturer's dehumidifier which had packed up. This dehumidifier is amazingly quiet in air-monitoring mode, in fact, you wouldn't know it's on when in air monitor mode. When it switches into dehumidifying mode it sounds about as loud as other units I have had. The capacity is good. It is currently running for around 48 hours in a large living room before needing emptied. The LED control unit is a bit hard to make out, but once you've set it up you probably won't want to change it, so it's no big issue.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very pleased overall
Having had previous experience of refrigerator type, the desiccant system works better for my application in an unheated garage.The Meaco unit also has better build quality and only needs to be on at it's lowest setting to keep humidity level in the mid to low 60% - previous units were 10% higher.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I did some research and everything pointed to buying this Meaco Zambezi. In a word it is "fantastic". We are using it to keep our boat free from moisture over the winter months. After the first day or so the tank was almost full and all the soft furnishings were then noticably dry to the touch. Since then it collects less, as it has cleared the initial dampness. Good little dehumidifier
Desiccant dehumidifier works great even in colder room temperatures, good selection of modes for general drying or laundry, inclusive filters and ionizer freshen the air. The tank is large enough to leave it running during the day, but comes with a drain hose if it needs to run continuously.
