Bettie Mae Page was an American model and performer who became famous in the 1950s for her pin-up photos. Her modeling career lasted from 1951 to 1957, and she was the centerfold in the January 1955 issue of Playboy. Page's photos were often controversial, and she appeared in over 50 burlesque films. Her photos and films were denounced by religious and civic leaders, and Senator Estes Kefauver of Tennessee launched a congressional investigation against her. Book in ver good condition with a tiny smudge mark on the rear cover.

It was as advertised!
Condition was a little bit better than expected. HOWEVER......I STRONGLY recommend that this item be put in a magazine bag AND a piece of cardboard be inserted into the mailing envelope. WHY? Since I have a PO BOX the postal clerk (jerk?) folded the envelope in half and jammed it into the box. It is not the senders fault that this happened. Just my two cents.Verified purchase: Yes
