Koyaanisqatsi current situation predicted a long time ago

koyaanisqatsi 1983 produced, extremely relevant today, proves that the corporate world chose to ignore all the warnings made in this film, probably to late now to turn the tide, the world is run by greedy ignorant stupid people, watch and weep...

  • Most critical review

You get what you pay for.

It's okay for smaller screens but it's not HD - if you play this on a large screen, you'll pretty quickly see it's pretty low resolution. The sound isn't top quality either. All in all it's fair enough at the price, but that reflects the quality.

  • Phenomenal environmental movies that could have been made today not 1982

These are art-cinema movies of extremely high quality, dealing with the subject of the environment. There is NO DIALOGUE. The soundtracks are by Philip Glass. Koyaanisqatsi is just magnificent - I watched this movie in the Cinema when it was first released in the 1980s know the music well and own the soundtrack CD. The movie's subject remains fresh and the film could not be any better if it had been made today with the latest technology. I have never seen Powqqatsi before - it's greatly different to Koyaanisqatsi - I would need to watch it again to give a balanced review.
