A masterwork in improvisation
Improvisation on this scale was a first and the Koln Concert still stands the test of time. Still the best and most accessible. I had this on vinyl when it came out and so this is a replacement. As a pianist I was hugely influenced by this. Although my main listening was Bill Evans who did a couple of solo records. ECM put out great artists.
