Soft Top Hard Shoulder
I wanted to see some of Peter Capaldi's earlier work. Gavin's character was funny, infuriating and sometimes sad. He really hit on every emotion. Yvonne, played by Elaine Collins, was heartwarming and delightful. You couldn't NOT find her endearing. They worked well together. At times the movie didn't seem to be moving too quickly, but it is an old movie and a road trip movie at that. The characters they meet along the way kept it interesting. I'm glad I made the buy.
