Product Information
In 2002 a group of students were brought together to compete for a million pound recording contract. David Sneddon from Glasgow finally won the public vote and the chance of a millionaire lifestyle.
Additional InformationFame Academy was the BBC's alternative to the highly successful ITV series Pop Idol, and set out with the same aim of discovering a hot new pop talent for 2003. The twist was that the contestants were holed up 24 hours a day in the academy buildings, and each week the students were forced to battle it out in a live televised show to save themselves from elimination. This DVD follows the paths of all the contestants, emphasising the eventual winner David Sneddon.
