    Great film 👍🙂

    Gripping film of brutal events . Too bad real life doesn't work out like this , though. Samuel Jackson's presence is pretty much a guarantee of quality but all of the actors put in a good performance. Definitely one to see .

    Entertainment of a difficult nature.

    It’s a film version of the Grisham novel and although it’s not quite like book, it is very good and extremely well acted. Having known people from that part of the Deep South, I understand that a lot of the views portrayed are quite representative of the views that for many, prevailed at that time.

    For me - a hard film to watch. Alabama type blacks/whites time in the 60s? before we learned how to live together. A significant ending, so worthwhile watching it. So glad we have moved on.
