Must watch on your film list, under rated

This film is totally underrated. Kevin Costner had fallen out with the film big wigs. So the film got some bad press. Why I don't know. The film is believable, to the extent after a war that sees the country's leaders dead warlords and gangs set to try and take over. The story is good the acting is even better. Costner plays a good role. As a postman, well finds the clothing of a dead postman and impersonates the postman to try and get free food and shelter. A must watch.

    Reasonable acting CRAP movie

Typical "woman" -I use the term extremely loosely -saves the day .Mind numbing characture of todays role reversal PC CRAP.. Oh and lets not forget the Make AmeriKa Great Again ethos of this typical contemporary garbage from the film industry

  • The Postman-Kevin Costner

This film is a bit "slow" to start with as it starts with the idea of a post apolyptic USA where very few have survived but eventually Costner steps out to become this "Postman" character which encourages others. Will Patton is the "evil" part of the film, clearly a coward who likes to give orders whilst not getting his own hands "dirty"-he makes the film more interesting. Close on 3 hours if you can get thru the 1st 30 minutes then its worth watching. In my own view not as good as "waterworld" but an interesting story non the less

  • Solid film.

Ignore all the criticisms that you hear about this film. Clever and engaging, and much better than anything produced these days.

  • Worth watching

A film I had never seen the beginning, excellent acting as usual from Kevin Costner. An old film made in 1997 as the scene is set in the future 2013! of a post apocalyptic world were people fight hunger and other factions to exist. The story is very good to start but then distracts from postman story to one of bitter struggle against a tyrant self made general I would of preferred more on the postman theme. Well worth buying as it's one of Kevin Costner's least known films.

  • The Postman is Classic Kevin Costner

The Postman DVD (1998) Kevin Costner Well you either like his movies or you don't :) This is one of my favorites another post apocalyptic world movie but with a twist at the end. Highly recommended even if you don't like his movies I think you'll like this one so give it a go.
