    Showing its age, but still interesting.

    Not bad for the time it was first released, but some of the animations look a little ‘wooden’. CGI would do a much better job today. Still an interesting series, though I would have liked it to have been a little more in depth on the geological background, though I suppose they couldn’t make it too academic or it wouldn’t have appealed to the great unwashed.

    OK, so its all CGI but provides an excellent overview of how the dinosaurs lived, evolved and then died. My three-year-old son loves it - BBC have great quality products and this was 1999, so if you take that into account, you'll still be amazed at what they achieved.
