One of my all time favourites
I saw this film back in 1967 when it was first released, and have seen it on television a couple of times. As it was one of my favourites, I thought it would be nice to own it, so that I could watch it whenever I like. The DVD was of excellent quality, and it was great to be able to see it in its entirety without the cuts that the TV company's make when showing it. Gritty drama with many twists and turns in the plot.
A brilliant and well-balanced view of how it was at an East End of London school in the 1960's, the characters are believable, and the storyline just keeps on rocking along.
