Spielberg's fantasy romance in which the spirit of an ace fire-fighting pilot returns to Earth to watch over the woman he loved and help a trainee pilot follow in his footsteps. Always - Spielberg film - Good evening watch
Saw this at the BAFTA cinema in London when it was first released and felt like having it again to watch - lots of scenes have stayed with me over the years. It did not disappoint - rather a weepy in parts but also funny. All leads are good and mesh their characters together well. I'd like to see the film it was based on (A Guy Called Joe) but it is a bit pricey now
