Simply The Best !!!
Its very hard to tell somebody's story in a film,but they got it right with this one.Superb acting,both leads deserve an Oscar and a Bafta.I can watch this again and again it's still looks fresh to me.Recommended five stars.

Amazing true life story
What a traumatic life Tina had with Ike who was a narcissist. Tina endured years of mental and physical abuse by Ike because she wanted to keep her family together. She was an energetic performer on stage and gave her audience everything she had. Eventually she does make a break from Ike and all she had was the clothes on her back and her stage name Tina, She discovers Buddishism and chants everyday which gives her peace within herself.

This is such a brilliant film. Superby acted. You almost forget the actors are not the real people. Touching and heart rending, made even more real by the fact it is a true story about the legend that is Tina Turner. What she went through and still emerged a superstar is testament to her brilliance and strength. 5 stars. A 'must see' film.
