The CD is good but not what it should be.
As far as Bedknobs and Broomsticks goes, the songs were written by the legendary Sherman Bros. Most were performed the the wonderfully talented Angela Lansbury and David Tomlinson. Each track is worth 5 stars and this CD happens to be the only one that offers the brunt of the songs in one place. However, it is severely lacking in certain areas. I wish it had more instrumental tracks, accurate song ordering, and a full track of the Portabello Road sequence (instead of breaking it up into smaller pieces and leaving out the medley of the different ethnic dance groups). Until Disney releases a more complete soundtrack album for this film, this one is good for what it is. When/if they ever release a more complete CD this one will be obsolete, except to those who just want the tracks containing vocals. (Even then, they probably won't like the album's overall arrangement.)

This is now hard to find and going for lots of money on sites like Amazon. It sounds great and has all the songs from the movie, including some extra unreleased demos.
