It Swings w/ Boogy Woogy
Relatively unknown great singer and piano player that performs swinging bluesy love songs from the late forties and early fifties. Not a klinker on the CD with few great rock'n instrumentals sprinkled in. Although this is her own compilation, she sang primarily with Roy Milton, so if you like this you will also like several of the Specialty Records compilations of his where you will hear of Howard's singing and playing. If you like bluesy boogy woogy music both artists are a must have.
