He lived in a windmill
This box set includes nearly all stories from series 1-4 plus two 'specials' Black Canary and Satan's Chimney. I was late in coming to Jonathan Creek, which still surprises me because JC's home up to 2004 was Kings Mill in Shipley - five miles south of my birth and former home town of Horsham. The series was broadcast in its entirety on Drama channel in the early months of 2016; and it was interesting to compare these with the official DVD version - much editing - some of it quite subtle has obviously been carried out on the televised episodes. My least favourite story is The House Of Monkeys with someone in a gorilla suit and a waste of the talent of Annette Crosbie. Mother Redcap and Miracle in Crooked Lane have clever plots with unlikely but satisfying conclusions. It's interesting to note that as JC's sidekicks become more and more attractive (Caroline Quentin; Julia Sawalha; Sheridan Smith; Sarah Alexander) they become less interesting and less amusing by an exact reverse ratio. Great series to watch
I really enjoyed watching the series again. it has been too long since I saw it last. It was great to watch and to get use to the characters again. It also works perfectly and there are no scratches or problems with the discs what so ever. Thank you so much.

Box set of pure magic
When jonathan creek was originally on TV I was doing other things so I missed it. I read it was really good so I knew I would get the box set from ebay for a great price. I found this box set very entertaining, enjoyable, gripping especially how jonathan works out the solution. I thought Alan Davies and Caroline Quentin were a formidable double act and had great chemistry. All in all a top buy.

Very good unusual
Jonathan Creek this is an interesting series well thought out ànd well acted. It is quite good trying to work out how each episode will end but it adds to the enjoyment. Somtimes it is quite clear how it was worked out but that does not spoil the episode maybe he is a bit more clever than I am but I do enjoy it.ithink I like episodes with Caroline in them the best but others are still fine.
