    Imaginative film

    I’ve always loved this film. Massive fan of David Niven. Niven is a bishop trying to raise money for a magnificent cathedral. Loretta Young plays his patient wife. Niven prays for help and Cary grant appears in his life as a guiding angel. Film is not overly religious. But very uplifting. It shows how small kindnesses and considerations can bring happiness

    Brilliant Christmas fantasy movie. Good story, excellent black and white photography (everything is in focus) well acted and well directed. On a par with "It's a wonderful life". Recommended family film, order a copy for Christmas!

    Christmas cheer. !

    It is a Christmas'y movie that can be watched again from year to year. No one was shot, no one died, it was good will all the way through. I recall it as a youngster when we only had a black and white TV in the UK. Will still watch it from time to time.
