So good I downloaded the book.
Saw this on TV and had to get it. Anjelica Huston is better looking than CJ really was, but she was great in the part. So was Melanie Griffith and Jack Palance!

Fun, funny, and a feel good movie
Great movie!! It's just a story and none of it is even true, but it's one of my all time favorite movies. Angelica Houston, Melanie Griffith among others make it an all star cast. It's old, but I love it.

Great Western, well acted, nice cast
Saw this years ago, but, holds up well. Nice to see women having more than 2 dimensional characterization. Anjelica Huston does a very good job as the lead, even in the awkward moments of the character. Has the walk and talk down. Good supporting cast. Jack Palance, Floyd Red Crow Westerman, Tracey Walter, and Charlayne Woodard handle their roles very well. A good movie that is worth seeing again, and even again.
