Reviews"...A Shower of Reggae Rants, Hip-Hop Rhymes, and Sensitive Crooning..."-Rating: B-, "...Brace yourself....two-thirds of 12 INCHES OF SNOW is a woeful attempt to hang Snow's coat of smooch-pop credibility on the jagged hook of hardcore dancehall...you'll need an industrial-strength retch receptacle...", 3 Stars - Good - "..."Informer" is the catchiest and funniest reggae crossover since Musical Youth's comparably nonsensical "Pass The Dutchie" a decade ago...", 5-Average-"...This Record Is So Obsessively, Meticulously Jamaican That It's Ridiculous...", "...packed with a variety of musical styles and lyrical techniques. While primarily a dancehall artist, Snow is quite capable of throwing diverse elements into the mix..."
For me, this album is a bit of So/ So. If this was a vinyl or tape and not CD then side B would receive higher grading from me than side A. The first 4 songs were not my cup of tea at all especially the fourth one but from ''Girl, I've Been hurt'' it slowly started getting better. There was few mishaps on the way too however in the end this is a so/so from me because I nearly liked half of the songs from it but I know much better MC's from 90's - The golden age of Rap Music such as Dr. Dre, 2Pac, Biggie or Ll Cool J.
