The engine has the factory, general pre-programming with a wheel circumference of 3000mm. You can therefore use the motor directly after installing it in the bike, but for optimal use you will need to adjust your bike-specific settings (wheel circumference, number of gears, lights, etc.) - i.e. installing the software!
