Not a simple piece of kit; study required, but amazing performance in such a small package.
If you want to record videos of your active life then the GoPro is the minimum specification required in my opinion. On comparing it's output with footage from another cheaper bodycam it's performance is head and shoulders above the cheaper one. It's a really tiny unit and that creates operational issues. It's not simple to use, and by that I mean it has a large range of features, so to get what you want from it, you will need to put in some study time. It can't be zoomed while recording so it's not a substitute for a camera. Zoom has to be set and after that you get what you get. Mind you, if you are in the middle of hill run and / or being attacked by a dog then zooming your GoPro wont be the first thing on your mind... One feature I didn't know about is the USB-C connector. I've just bought a new phone and that has the same connector which means the chargers and cables are all compatible; happy days... And the mounting clips are very different from anything I've used before which makes many of the following add-ons necessary o A chest harness o A helmet o Spare mounts including sticky and screw variants o Spare usb-c cables o Spare batteries o A multi-battery battery charger o A case to put it all in

super. versatile. small.
I used this product underwater for snorkelling and - with the super suit - for scuba diving. The image quality is amazing and it's features allow the user to take shots in a range of situations without being fiddly and overtechnical - in this sense, it's user-friendly. Not quite sure why it recorded 21 minutes of footage inside my bag in Mexico City - which chewed my battery big time - but it's something I need to work on. Expensive but worth it.

Excellent image stabilisation .
The pro 7 has far better image stabilisation than the previous models .. i use it on my Motorbike , i have a clamp off of the wing mirror .. every camera i tried had far too much vibration to have a sensible video .. including a Pro 5 .. the 7 though .. it's pretty damn good at canceling out the vibration so the finished video is perfectly watchable . Using a helmet attachment .. no issues whatsoever .. i will say though , get a polarising lens for those sunny days .. it brings up the video quality no end . The 7 is also faster to download videos to the computer compared to the 5 .

A great value action camera
This is a great camera. Thf image stabilisation is great. Having had built in screen is geat as it allows menus to be scrolled easily. It came with lots of attachments so can go anywhere. Being waterproof without a case is another advantage

Smoothest gopro yet
I've had gopro cameras since the very first one so I can say without doubt that this version is the best yet. To pack in as many features as they do is incredible. The new hypersmooth system is amazing and is a game changer in regard to video quality. The one thing that let's all gopros down is battery life but this can be worked around by various products.

Everything you need in an action camera
In all of the tests I've seen between the GoPro 7 and later editions, I can't see much to justify paying more for a newer model. This camera takes really good video, and the inclusion of stabilisation for the first time on this model sets it apart from previous generations.
