Kills ticks but only after they have already attached themselves to my dog
This product works by killing ticks that bite and suck the blood from the dog. The ticks then die and eventually fall off. This is useful as it is sometimes difficult to see the ticks and they might be missed. However, if the tick were carrying Lyme Disease, by the time the tick dies it will already have attached itself to the dog and may already have transmitted the disease. I use this product as I want to be sure that any ticks I do not find, will be killed and fall off. I still need to check my dog regularly and remove any ticks I find, to reduce the time the tick is attached. I use this brand as I know my dog doesn't have any reaction to it. I just wish there was a product which stopped the ticks biting my dog in the first place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
