    Love the old guys.

    Just the though of John Prine with the older generation of Mac Wiseman makes this great listening. Wish I could have been there during the recording sessions. oh what stories they could tell. the music was syrupy but what would you rather have. two old protest sin gers pretending there were 20 again. If you want a listening , reminiscing experience, you will love this.

    A Blast from the Past for sure!

    There is no description for John Prine except that he's a musical genius who is also able to tell a hell of a story in his songs. Mac Wiseman has been a Bluegrass favorite of mine since childhood. Melding the two together for these particular tunes and hymns was not only a wonderful idea, it's a wonderful recording. I am so pleased. My Dad used to sing these old songs with his Mother and they both sang with me, so it brings back some tears, some laughter and will have great value in my life. It's always going to be special when I put it in the CD player to listen, reminisce and remember how things used to be so much more simple. Everyone has a dream, right?
