Wonderful movie with an elusive portrait painting...
Perfect DVD movie, excellent service, careful packing, speedy delivery. I love it! However, I am intrigued by a portrait used as prop in this movie. I have seen this exact painting used as prop in TV series "Poirot: The Plymouth Express" and "Midsomer Murders: The Sleeper Under the Hill." I would love to know the name of the artist and/or the name of the painting. I tried using reverse-image-search on Google, Bing, Yandex, Tin Eye, Alamy, and Getty. The only reference to the painting leads back to movie "The Turning," but never names the artist or the painting. I guessed that it might be copy of painting by Modigliani, Picasso, Soutine, but have been unable to find the original source/artist. I also searched online the actual Knebworth House in Ireland where "The Turning" was filmed in effort to find that painting there. I still have not found the painting. So, I just keep searching and hoping to identify the painting.
