Coming from a bushnell it’s very slow and difficult to lock in on a target.
It takes longer than a typical bushnell laser to lock on the target, if your hands are shakey you have no chance of locking in on a target unless you are 50 yds away. When you do lock on a target you get lots of info that is very useful. I had to load the Garman golf app twice to get it to work with the Z82 so I could get the wind direction, when i did it worked great! Takes some time to get used to but when you get over waiting for the screen to come on, and get locked on a target it tells you every possible yardage and wind condition you will ever need.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Not sure it is worth the money
Liked that it shows overview of the hole and distances to hazzards. If you’re too far off the hole you are playing it picks up the closest one to you. Wind speed and direction component is worthless.
