Top piece of kit
Just set this up today, it was a doddle to do, all the bit were there and easy to fit. Tried it out, the first time you start it up it nearly gives you a heart attack, sounds like a big gun going off!!, however, what a good bit of kit it is, powerful, solid and accurate, just the job for a keen D.I.Y. er or for that matter, a professional wanting a good job done. I have bought lesser & cheaper saw tables in the past and replaced them after a few months because of the machine/parts, breaking down. Good value and highly recommended.
I am using this saw for joinery, mainly cutting soft woods up to 2inches thick and small MDF sheets up to 1 inch thick. (That's about 50mm & 25mm ). It is perfect for this but also has the capability to cut hardwoods and larger profiles. I have also used it to cut rebates and angles and find the fine adjustments easy to use and effective. It is far better than the saw it replaced. When I received the saw the quality was better than I expected and now I'm using it I recommend it.
