Release the Kraken!
I bought this chair for use in the garden and for fishing trips. I weigh 150kg, so the chairs max weight limit of 180kg was a selling point. The chair is well made and appears to be made of good quality materials and design. The rigid arms allow me to get into and out of the chair easily and the chair is sturdy enough with no flex in the frame. The steel frame is held together with rivets and locked open by two plastic clips behind the armrests, these are secured with two screws retained with nyloc nuts. I did have one of these nyloc nuts fall off the chair, luckily onto my patio the second time I used it. I heard the nut fall and it was easily found and re attached with an 8mm spanner. I would recommend any purchaser to check the tightness of these two nuts before the chairs initial use, especially in the field. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and I am sure it will serve me well.
