Wrong product for us
Sadly for me I assumed as it said suitable as a Van jump starter it would be better that only doing 2l diesel engines which we found out on arrival. As both our car and van area 3l plus engines it just does not do the job we wanted. Our bad should have check the pictures closer and seen what it said on packaging. As would cost more in shipping to return we will bit the bullet and sell on. I'm sure does right job at lower end of market but looks quite cheap option on inspection. However if you want it for smaller vehicles I'm sure it would be ok and do the job. Would have been useful if it had said in spec what vehicle engines it covered for those of us who do not go away and fully research before buying my bad.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

streetwise jump-starter
I only gave this jump-starter 4 stars because on the advert it said it started petrol cars up to 2500cc and diesel cars up to 2000cc, I bought it to jump start my Volvo C30 1600cc diesel, and it wouldn't, I then put it onto my daughters Renault Clio 1400cc petrol that has been sitting for a year and nothing whatsoever in the battery, it started it first time, I gave it 4 stars because it wouldn't start my C30 1600cc diesel Volvo, but it turned out that the battery was absolutely goosed, after finally getting it started using jump leads and running the car for 30 miles to try and charge up the battery I stopped and turned the key, ""Nothing even the deash lights didn't come on"" so not really sure if that had something to do with the jump-starter not starting my Volvo C30, with the Renault Clio petrol after leaving it running for 20 minutes and turning it off, when I tried it it started first go, so the Clio battery took a charge Making me think that maybe because of the Volvo's C30 battery being absolutely done that maybe the cars computer didn't allow it to start, the air pump on it is exceptionally good and blew a flat tyre on the Clio up in the matter of minutes, I would still recommend this jump-starter as I personally think its the car not the jump-starter, because it would put all dash lights on the Volvo 1600cc diesel and when you turned the key it just clicked, and a message came up on the dash ""immobiliser problem immobiliser service required"" I obviously bought a new battery, and when I put it into the car and started it there was no messages on the dashboard. I really think its the Volvo C30 car and the fact of the completely goosed battery that's the problem not the jump-starterVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Compact booster/compressor
It's charged up ready to use but haven't had to use it yet, bought it on the recommendation of my neighbour who said he has used his one to good effect. Having now had to use the charger only to find out that it only holds a full charge for a couple of days, so unless you keep it on a permanent charge it probably wont be charged up if you need it in an emergency, so I now rate this as not very good quality..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Well I’m afraid you get what you pay for and the cheap option for this one is not recommend. I will in future pay an extra £30 and get a decent one. Even the labels won’t stick down used it once compressor doesn’t work properly pumping one tyre up and smoke coming out of the unit,and the gauge is a mile out
