  • Much better than reference and cheaper too!

The provided cooler works very well, makes direct contact with not only the GPU but the memory (through an aluminum shim) as well as contact with the VRMs. When the fans ramp up it can get a bit loud but nowhere near as bad as the reference cooler. Kind of a downer that it doesn't come with a backplate but they are mainly for show anyways. I won't deduct from review since it is clear what you are getting from the photos. Mine has some minor coil whine in certain situations but it's not annoying.

  • 1080ti great card even in 2022

I was surprised how well I liked this gpu. I was more skeptical about the age of it and buying a used one but I have no complaints and haven’t regretted it in the slightest. The color matched well with my case and performs well!

  • Gigabyte 1080ti review

I was honestly skeptical about the Gigabyte brand at first... But, This Gigabyte 1080ti card that I got has performed phenomenally so far. It has been 1 of the coolest cards so far temp wise and very quiet.

  • Cheaper 1080ti

So, I have had 2 models of 1080ti now, I have this cheaper model and a Asus rog strix model. This cheaper gigabyte model you can tell is cheap, it looks cheap, its louder but not terrible, and the Temps are higher, but not too hot. That all sounds kinda bad right? But its not bad at all, the performance is there, the 1080ti is still one of the better cards on the market and this is no different. I would take performance over any of the above and its cheaper on top of it.

  • Gigabyte best OC Gaming Graphics Card

I purchased two identical Gigabyte GTX-1080 ti GPUs for my new Gaming Rig called "R2D2 GAMING RIG" ....They are connected via an MSI HD SLI Bridge for the best possible performance!! These are not the newer 2000 series or even the 3000 series but for my dollar they perform incredibly well for 4k / 60fps gaming!!

  • Came looking like it was new.

The graphics cards came with everything that it did when it was new. All the paper work cd's anti static bag, even the little tabs for the display outputs. I was also super surprised with the packaging job. It was very secure and well done.

  • Good deal for price

Looked around a lot and this was definitely the best priced by far. It came in OG packaging and performs perfectly. That being said, it was marketed as brand new and it had slight dust on it suggesting it had been lightly used. I am happy with the deal, no worries. Cheers!

  • Absolutely amazing, and even better with some tweaking

Out of the box, the GPU is cool, but a little bit loud with the fan reaching into the mid-60% fan speed in my machine (2x 120mm input and 2x 120mm output fans). Using MSI Afterburner, I was able to overclock the clocks speed to 1860 MHz, limit the voltage to 950 mV (from 1050 mV stock), and cap the fan to 53% fan speed. A little bit of work, and I *think* there's still a little wiggle room there, but now I keep 1848-1860 perfectly stable in all my games and the card is extremely quiet. Would definitely recommend!

  • silicon lottery

There were a lot of reviews online stating a lot of this model suffered from coil whine and it being noisy, however, upon installing mine, it perform exactly as It should have. rips through all my games out the box. There was no coil whine, however, 3 big fans rotating can cause a little bit of noise, but THAT is expected. Gets to 75 degree Celsius in PlayerUnknown BatteGrounds. I get a stable manual OC up to 1880 ( with +20 on the VCore). For a $635 1080TI, I am one happy camper. Thanks, Newegg!

  • You get what you pay for! Perfect

Yes, it doesn't have a back-plate. In my situation, my pc window is against a dresser so I dont care about the aesthetics (which is the main reason for a backplate). I will say there is a website where you can buy a back plate, fully customizable, for this exact model for an extra $30. But as far as performance, it is great. I use a Samsung 4k 55 inch tv as a monitor and play all my games on there. THIS IS WITH MINIMAL OC, you can OC way more for better performance. I play all the Batman Arkham games and it kills it, even at 4x AA ultra (you dont even need AA at 4k but these are just reference), 60 fps. With GTA 5, everything ultra(no AA on anything) and run 60 fps around 80% percent of the time. never goes down from 53 fps, if you lower 3 settings to just "very high" or "high" you get constant 60 fps. H1Z1 60 fps ultra. PUGB, optimization is eh rn so i don't play on ultra (personally it doesn't look too good on ultra) but on ultra you get 60 fps if screen scale is at 85. Star Wars Battlefront runs 60 fps on ultra with 120% scaling (which is more than normal). Metro runs at 60 fps with ultra 2x AA. Borderlands 2 60 fps ultra. Mirrors edge around 50 fps on Extreme, 60 fps on very high. This card kills everything. As far as sound, it gets loud under load BUT so does every other card. Dont let it be a deal breaker for this card. There has been people saying there is coil wind, and I have gotten once in 3 weeks. But when I am gaming 15 feet away with speakers I dont hear it and when i game 4 feet away, I dont hear it with my headset. Would recommend this card since I see its one of the more cheaper aftermarket cards and I fully recommend it. I got mine for $689.
