Cheap. Easy to use. Works good on Linux and Windows.
It's easy to use. Plug & play. It focused pretty fast and I didn't need any special lighting. I just used ambient light in my bedroom. I tried it on Linux with VLC, Simple Screen Recorder, Cheese, and Webcamoid. Cheese was unusable. The other apps were OK. Simple Screen Recorder looked the best but I had to adjust the resolution down to 720p. Logitech has a free download package for Windows 10 and it works really well. This is probably the fastest & easiest way to start recording. I haven't tried the thing on Zoom, WebEx, or Discord yet, which is really what I bought it for. Good camera so far though. If you don't want to spend much and don't want to fiddle with a lot of settings, this one is a good choice. No buyer's remorse here.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Nice camera if you can get it to focus
The C920 is very easy to use, but mine has major problems with focus unless you have outrageously bright light in the room. The focus is much worse than the built-in cameras on any of my laptops. When the camera is in focus, it looks great, but I can't recommend this camera unless you only videoconference outside during the day or have dedicated lights for your face for your videoconference setup. It may work better as a conference room camera where subjects are several feet from the screen instead of 2-3 feet like my desktop workstation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Webcam That Was Worth the Wait!
Overall it is a great webcam. These Logitech units were out of stock for months and I resisted the temptation to pick up an "off brand" webcam at half the price and was glad I waited. Picture quality is very good and Zoom and WebEx meetings have very good audio - the built-in mic picks up everything very well. The camera lens has a wide angle. I'm using it on a desktop PC so the wide view has been good when my wife and I both wanted to be in the shot. We're using separate PC speakers which I prefer to the built in stereo speakers although they work well too. The only minor complaint is that the privacy shutter clips on - a feature in one sense since you can just leave it off -- but it slides off easily when attempting to open or close the shutter when mounted. The odd thing is that this model C920S with the privacy shutter was priced $10 less than the C920 -- the same webcam without the shutter.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Logitech C290x...Nice webcam
The logitech c290x is a nice webcam. The picture has great image quality and sound is good. It work as stated. Initially noted that the zoom feature of the lens did not do as advertised but it was an operator problem and was resolved. Good Camera for Web meetings
I tried a few other cameras from different brands because I was trying to avoid the most popular brand, but they all had terrible picture quality or autofocus. I finally gave up and tried this and I can see why it’s so popular. It’s plug-and-play, so there was no set up. If you want some software to adjust the image, you can download it from the Logitech site. I’m sure there’s far superior cameras for more money, but for daily video conferencing, this camera meets the need and the price is reasonable. It took me about 4 months of searching and trying to get this camera, but this should be one of the first to try to see if it’s good enough for your needs.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice camera, one small glitch, easily fixed.
Brand new as described, quickly delivered. Works very well. Only one problem, easily solved: the tripod socket insert on the bottom bracket was not secure and quickly came out the first time I mounted and then removed it from a support stand. I decided the needed repair was simple enough – I mixed up a two-part epoxy, applied it to the socket piece, inserted it fully into base bracket and let it sit overnight. Now works fine. Great product. Just a little finicky on the settings.
Works great once you get it setup. It was easy to connect and it defaulted to good color imagines, but then some setting changed and we had a heck of a time getting the images back to color and not black and white.
