My bike jacket had got totally hammered in the weeks we had torrential rain..other motorists had soaked me going through deep dirty puddles and I my jacket wasn’t repelling anything anymore..after using nikwax wash to clean my jacket and then the wash in waterproofing ( I did use 50% extra dosage )my jacket is like brand new and holding off the weather even better than when new to be honest..well worth the money the money and I even reproofed some trousers with same success..
