I have used this for a couple of weeks now, with mixed results. It works fine on the smaller sizes, but found the only way to open a standard jar was to grip the jar instead of the lid and open by hand. The extra purchase hon the jar helps. It does the job in removing bottle and jar openers though it does not have the circumference on larger than average jars like larger jars of beetroot or pickle onions. It is absolutely useless. Would even unscrew a cap which had already been loosened. After I'd ordered my daughter recommended banging the rim of the cap against the work surface.
