Expensive, but worth it.
Even with the automotive-focused angle that this unit is advertised for, I wasn't looking to purchase this particular unit. Then I found out about Fluke's relatively generous parts availability as I browsed on eBay for other alternatives. That means if something went wrong, there would be more chances to get it fixed. Just the build quality of the test leads alone show that this unit is on another level from what I'm used to. The rubberized outer shell, flexible stand on its back and light-up display are most welcome. The extra accessories in the kit would be useful, and while the carrying case may seem a bit much, it's nice to have everything in one place. It's also of good quality. Yes, it's still expensive, but I wanted to level up from my trusty old Advance AutoParts multimeter, which has finally passed on.
