Great stand, sturdy and easy to set up.

i have had one of the original Park home stands probably since the "turn of the century". it works great but was not height adjustable. and when my Klein had a "super oversize tube set" i had to drill another hole to make that monster frame fit! that said it was the lack of height adjustment that made me buy the 10.2. as i get older i dislike all the bending over. Much better clamping system for all my bikes and very sturdy. it doesn't fold as flat as my old stand but still is east to tuck out of the way.

I wish the clamp head could be swiveled, left or right. Especially when stand is not in use.

There are many good things this maintenance stand provides however the fact that the head does not swivel or pivot is a negative . When used in small spaces the clamp head would be safer if could be moved out of the way. The design of the vertical tubing does not currently allow this. The stand is sturdy and that is the reason I wanted it.

  • Not the best, but darn close

Park Tool is the Snap On of the bicycle industry. Usually overpriced stuff. In some cases, like basic tools such as allen wrenches, they are overpriced, they're cheapest truing stand is double what it should actually cost to purchase. They do make specialty tools for bikes that are well worth their weight in gold for the price. This is one of them. This stand is a heavyweight. Quite literally. Weighing in as much as a MTB. Itself. Strong tubing, good design. The head clamps down on your bike as light or as hard as you want. Easily adjustable, and when you have it set up for your bike, makes quick mounting. The complete thing is made of steel except for the square bushing for tightening the head so it doesn't swing, It doesn't fold up well, but folds up enough to get out of the way for storage, I can see why the aluminum version (team issue) would be the next logical step. Legs fold up better and the whole thing is aluminum, so its half the weight. Is it worth $100 more? NAhhh.

  • Awesome MTN Bike Stand

Awesome color ; Heavy Duty ; fair price & easy to assemble {with the help of UTube } It holds my Specialized "Chizel" with ease ;; The only issue is the tilt lock, it needs a safety pin to make shure it doesn't move and drop the bike like it did mine. That's why I gave it four stars.

  • Does what it is supposed to

Sturdy, stable stand. Hold the bike with one hand, tighten the holder with the other hand. When not in use, best to put the stand in a place where the horizontal legs won't be tripped over, or fold the stand and put it in a corner. The geometry of the stand is well thought out, so nothing gets in the way of working on the bike.

  • Solid stand!

In a fit of false economy, I'd picked up a cheap no-name stand. It was actually harder to juggle the bike and do any work on it. The Park stand is solid, and even though it may not be rated to hold my tandem, it'll do it. So, my other bikes are no sweat at all for this thing. ...too bad the wheel truing attachment doesn't fit, but that's my bad for not doing my research well enough.

  • Very sturdy, great value

I owned a park bike repair stand along time ago and I moved and I needed a new one. I bought this one hoping it would be sturdy because I have a heavy E-mountain bike. I put my mountain bike on the bike stand and it is very sturdy no movement at all! I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

  • Another great Park product

Sturdy, folds well. The one locking lever on the bottom tube sometimes slips despite being torqued down... Nice clamp to hold bike. Assembly wasn't too bad.
