Not the best, but darn close
Park Tool is the Snap On of the bicycle industry. Usually overpriced stuff. In some cases, like basic tools such as allen wrenches, they are overpriced, they're cheapest truing stand is double what it should actually cost to purchase. They do make specialty tools for bikes that are well worth their weight in gold for the price. This is one of them. This stand is a heavyweight. Quite literally. Weighing in as much as a MTB. Itself. Strong tubing, good design. The head clamps down on your bike as light or as hard as you want. Easily adjustable, and when you have it set up for your bike, makes quick mounting. The complete thing is made of steel except for the square bushing for tightening the head so it doesn't swing, It doesn't fold up well, but folds up enough to get out of the way for storage, I can see why the aluminum version (team issue) would be the next logical step. Legs fold up better and the whole thing is aluminum, so its half the weight. Is it worth $100 more? NAhhh.
