    First class aerial

Before I had the Labgear 450T aerial my tv reception was fair. However, as soon as I had installed the Labgear aerial the reception was very much better. I have seen a noticeable improvement in both sound and picture quality and I also have my music centre plugged into my house loft aerial on a splitter and the reception and clarity has really been improved. I highly recommend anyone that wants a better reception signal to get one of these aerials, they are REALLY first class and very easy to assemble too. Excellent item, money well spent.

    PRODUCT FALLING A PART

  • Solid build, quick and easy to assemble...

Pre-assembled sub-assemblies and standardised nut sizes, and screw-on 'F' type cable connection all contribute to stress-free installation. Unfortunately points are lost from the square 'cut-off' at the barcaket end of the lower reflector sub-assembly. This snap-lcks into the oblique bracket at the base of the main-spine sub-assembly of the aerial/ The square cut has to be recut at an angle by hand with a hacksaw to provide the insertion depth needed for it's locator lugs. in the reflector sub-assembly, to click into their location holes in the lower bracket. Be careful to cut the correct direction of angle or you will reverse the reflector... it has a front and a back side to it. I connected directly into a spare satallite dish cable connector already installed.. and used the unused dish's boom to attach to with a few M6 U-bolts and pre-drilled 4" flat brackets, plus some chocks as spacers to make it all tight.

  • Excellent aerial

Fairly easy to follow instrustions an "f" type connector included some people mentioned missing but was sello taped to packageing. Exellent picture and reception even through fitted into loft space, Would recommend.

  • Great little Arial

So far so good, fitted In the loft for now but will fit to the roof in the summer. Working fantastically well with my youview box. Only slight annoyance was that I had to go to Maplins to buy an F type connector but overall I’m very pleased with the product.

  • Loads of channels.....For a little money!

Great Picture in a very low signal area, from this High Gain unit. The instructions look more complicated than it really is! The main aerial just unfolds and clips together. I purchased a pole from B and Q and the whole lot was fixed to the chimney in a couple of hours. Previously, we needed a booster on the original aerial, but with the pole and this larger unit, it works a treat.

  • Labgear loft instalation.

I live in a bungalow with a low roof with two storey buildings opposite so I purchased this labgear aerial with more than a hint of scepticism.I did expect to have to rig it up outside but thought I would try it in the loft first. On opening the box I found most of the aerial was already assembled. The rest of the components when together easily and I have to say this aerial has been well thought out and well constructed. The plastic components are are tough and well manufactured. I would have no hesitation in putting it on a pole on the side of the bungalow.Rigging it up in the loft was a bit of a pain but that was only because of the roof height and me being not all that agile..I attached a old piece of tube the a beam and attached the labgear with the bracket provided. There was already a old uhf aerial up there which wouldn't provide any signal hence no channels on my hdd recorder. I followed the co ax cable from that aerial and threaded the new co ax through the hole where the old co ax cable was. I put a new connector on the new cable put it in the back of the had recorder and prayed. I actually waited about 15 mind because I feared the worse. I switched on the TV and select antenna and the channels were there and a good picture next came auto tuning the had recorder.Bingo 105 channels and picture perfect.well chuffed as it only the price of the aerial and co ax cable.just my humble opinion but I highly rate this product.

  • Labgear LAB450 aerial

I bought this as roof aerial had broken and placed in loft. We are in a moderate to weak signal area and didn't expect much. It has performed excellently over 140 channels. Brilliant piece of kit.
