Avtex soundbar
Fitted this to my Avtex tv and first impressions are very good. My hearing is poor and the tv sound seems much clearer and louder. I have played music from my phone though the soundbar and it sounds great. The packaging is up to Apple standards and gives a very good first impression. The only difficulty I had was attaching the bracket to the Avtex tv because one screw had been lost when the campervan dealer fitted the tv in the van so I had to find an identical one to make a pair and the attachment is rather crude self tappers into plastic, but the bracket to soundbar is a quality fit with the supplied CSK screws into tapped holes. Expensive, but good value
A surprisingly small unit as soundbars for TV go and rather more expensive than many. However the good sound quality and robust construction make it a purchase not to regret. Neat easily accessible controls on the right hand end may be inconvenient for a left-hander, but works well for me. The remote is also neat, simple and handy. We do not have an Avtex TV, but using it in our motor-home with PC and Satellite box, it fills the role very well. All in all very happy with the purchase.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Spend
Awesome - Very High End Build Quality and so it should be for that price. If you don't have an Avtex Telly, then you may be disappointed. This attaches 'Underslung' very secure to Series 8 & 9 Avtex Telly. If you're looking for Loudish Speakers, you'll be disappointed because these are a very clear 'Rich Velvet' that isn't loud but is Luxury. I smile each time I engage the Soundbar - Really Good Spend if you have an Avtex T.V.

Great Sound from Small Unit

Great upgrade to an avtex tv
Only tested it so far but- -nice sound and easy to stream music from iPhone. -mounts nicely on bottom of Avtex L219DRS tv when tv is wall mounted. -far superior sound than the tv speakers. -does not obstruct access to any of the tv buttons or controls. -easy to connect with hdmi arc cable supplied.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A well designed quality product.
My Avtex TVin my Motorhome had a good picture but as with most flatscreen TVs the sound quality was quite poor and tinny sounding. This Avtex Soundbar has transformed the listening experience and the sound quality is just so much more fuller and deeper. The unit attaches very neatly to the underside of the TV via a small unobtrusive bracket, so doesn’t take up valuable worktop space as the whole lot hangs from the existing wall fixing. It also came with plenty of options of cables and connections including a 12 volt transformer if needed and a HDMI link cable to the TV. Big sound from compact bar
Having splashed out on an Avtex TV for our motorhome, I decided to buy the Avtex Soundbar. It impresses me on four levels: (1) It comes with a bracket that means it fixes perfectly to the TV and is a similar width. (2) The sound is excellent with a good range and more volume than we'd ever need. (3) When connected to the Avtex via an hdmi lead, the TV automatically connects to it. (4) All our bluetooth devices and a CD/DVD player connect to it so even without the TV, the soundbar has a role to play with all our audio devices. I could have bought any one of hundreds of sound bars and had a decision about where to site it in a confined space but this one is just perfect.
