Smashing finish
This lacquer has a brilliant high gloss finish, the spray is wide, consistent and even. This makes it relatively easy to get a great finish. Like another reviewer, I actually spent 4 minutes thoroughly shaking the tin, to ensure the contents were completely mixed. I was fortunate in that the brilliant weather we are currently having, meant I could spray outside. Yes, it does take longer to completely set and harden compared to a two part 2K lacquer, but within one day I could carefully handle the parts I had painted. I would say that with care I could have re-assembled the bike using them. So overall I would recommend and definitely re-use this lacquer. But if you need a finish that is ready to go quickly, then go for a proper two part.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Takes a long time to harden...
I bought this because for a 2K clear coat it turned out to be good value for money. The wet coat applies good and gives a good clear coat, however, it takes a long long time to harden, even after two weeks the coats below the top coat remained soft. It's the second time I've had to wet sand to achieve a good result. On wet sanding it releases small crystals which can get caught between the sand paper and top coat causing new scratches to evolve. I've used cheaper 1K clear coats which have produced better results. My recommendations would be SprayMax, even though it's more expensive but the product is great. Not a 2 part clearcoat but you get a good quantity and better than local motor factors cheap clear.
This it ok and pretty good value with 2 cans, but this is not a 2 part 2k clearcoat so don't be confused with that. A true 2k ca with separate hardener to activate would be better for a longer finish. Wasn't damp when used and did fog up a few times are it cured. heat gun for a few days over the top seemed to sort. will prob look to redo with a true 2k 2 part clearVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Seen mixed reviews on this and wasn’t sure weather to use it or not as other reviews said it doesn’t dry properly and still sticky 7 days after ... anyways I went ahead and gave it a go I was respraying my car wing once it was painted I done 3 coats of the 2k clear and it looks perfect I’ve left it 24hrs and came back to check and it’s completely dry didn’t have any problems with this product . Rubbish
Absolute rubbish. I brought this for my motorbike spent weeks preparing it ect and finally spray it the colour I wanted and then went over it with this to then fill my motorbike up with petrol and spilt a tiny bit over the tank for it then to pickle all the paint work up. I then get told it’s not petrol resistant. Even still the mud guard and others bits that was also sprayed the lacquer never went off you could touch the paint work and it would leave finger prints in it. Not happy with this product at all. Would not recommend
This really is not fast drying clear coat! I used this product to cover base coat colour on two car panels. I gave them 2 light coats allowing 24 hours to dry between coats and then a heavier pass to get a good finish. I then left them in a warm room to dry for 3 days and then 3 days outside in the sunlight to fully cure. Although touch dry when fitting the panels the paint was being left with impression even with gentle pressure. I then left a further 4 days before wet sanding flat again and polishing to a gloss finish (looks ok to be fair) however even after all this time even light dust if brushed leaves terrible scratch marks where the paint is not fully hardened. This is NOT a 2K product and in my opinion is a poor quality clearcoat. I have allowed plenty more time than stated to give the product a chance but i will have to strip the panels and start again.

BUT IF ONE TRIES TO PUT A THICKER, OR DENSER SPRAY, IT CAN RIPPLE, SHOW-UP AS NOT LEVEL, WHEN LOOKED-AT, OBLIQUELY. BUT THE SURFACE OU ARE SPRAING, MUST HAVE A PERFECTLY SMOOTH, DRY, DUST-FREE SURFACE. Brilliant at first look, then alloys stained
