    Very complicated

Bought tis as a present for my wife. She wanted a camera with a view finder as in bright light it is often difficult to see what you are taking a picture of an a screen. This camera is good but maybe a bit too advanced for your average snapper. It took her ages with lots of reading and watching video tutorials just to take a picture. It kept wanting to make videos and she lost lots of what she thought were pictures as it decided to do a video instead. After 3 days she finally cracked it, but is still not 100% confident with it and wont use a fraction of the features it has. So, if you are a keen and knowledgeable photographer great. If you are not then it may not be for you.

    Hmmm

The demo in the shop lived up to the hype, but this camera just doesn't want to focus, unless you're prepared to try and try and try ... possibly a defect, but as I'm no professional, who am I to say.. all I will say, since I bought it, i've taken more pictures on my phone than the camera... it's an expensive disappointment

  • Amazing Camera Especially At The Price.

What a fantastic camera, makes me pleased that my old one became faulty. It is easy to use immediately and that is lucky as I bought it for a holiday just days before leaving. Photos are clear and the zoom is something else. I was able to take a full frame picture of the Statue of Liberty from the top of the Empire State Building a distance of over 4 miles, without shake. Amazing. Low light shots are not to the same standard with grain setting in, but for the money I did not expect miracles in this respect. Excellent buy for someone wanting point and squrt for excellent holiday snaps, but it has a lot of more advanced features if you need them or wish to be come more artistic, including the ability to save picture as raw images. Brilliant camera.

  • The Panoramic LUMIX DC.FZ82EB-K

Whilst this camera has some basic failings such as not been able to connect and external microphone. It nevertheless is an outstanding camera. It’s a shame Panasonic couldn’t use the same symbols.in use with other cameras make, which to me would be just common sense. This is a camera which if you play to it’s strong points you will be exceptionally pleased if you expected to be like the ordinary cameras it is not. For most photographers who have used other cameras they will find it hard work coming to terms with its somewhat unusual structure for operating. If you wanted to shoot good quality video with no sound although haven’t yet used it I believe it to be excellent. This is the only camera in many years where I found it hard work to work out how to do some basic functions which I know are there but I believe it will be well worth the effort as some of it strong points are very good strong points the lens astounded me with one of the first photographs I took I think this camera will challenge many ew photographers unless they are used to Panasonic but I think Well worth the effort. Please note I would rather review this camera when I’d had some time to really understand it as it is are used it for a very short period but I’ve taken many thousands of photographs Michael Cooper

  • Lumix FZ82 Faults

Must be a design fault? The Viewfinder focus adjustment ring in now set on the right as on the Lumix FZ72 it is on the Left. Now my hand clumsily gets in the road while making adjustments to it. Not good. Also while on extended zoom the image viewed tends to lurch left and right. Very annoying indeed. Maybe a firmware update will fix this. Besides the differences I think this is an exceptional camera and does a great job. I will wait another 6/7 years if I have to for the next Lumix FZ Camera.

  • Great value piece of kit

For the price, this is a fantastic camera. It has 4k video, 4k photo and post focus features. Image quality is very good in daytime. The zoom from 20 to 1200mm is excellent as is the stabilization system.

  • A brilliant all round camera at an amazing price.

This is a brilliant bridge camera. Recomended by a friend who has a more expensive Lumix, he now aims to buy the DC-FZ2EB-K as it has a longer zoom than his. Also, he is amazed at the photo quality it takes. In its price range, this camera cannot be beaten and is suited for all levels as it has a great set of features which require a low learning curve.

  • Superb camera

Quality photos and very sturdy camera with an awesome wide angle. I have downgraded on 'easy to use ' as you need to have experience with high spec bridge cameras otherwise you might find the instructions mind boggling. I have had two Lumix FZ cameras before so I found it ok. It's lighter to carry around than my Nikon D90. The macro is brilliant, focussing down to 2cms. I love it.

  • Bargain priced super long zoom

I have 6 other Panasonic cameras from TZ to G80 with wide and long lenses. Bought the FZ82 for its super long 1200mm zoo, the wide 20mm is a nice bonus. The image quality has to be considered in the context of the tiny sensor. This is a good light camera when used zoomed in. The 4K features, touchscreen and function buttons are very good. The EVF is very usable and essential when light is very bright. For anyone interested in wildlife the FZ82 is a very cost effective tool, especially at the price oneBay’s Panasonic Outlet.

  • Fz82

I suppose that to most people this camera would be easy to use but for 2 absolute numpties like me and my wife it's mind boggling. Thanks to YouTube theres quite a few video tutorials on how to set up the camera. Please don't let me put you off buying a Lumix FZ82 neither of us should be let anywhere near technology.
