I bought this for my fella and honestly I didn't expect much to begin with, having seen them online for upto £110. Just Took a punt cause they're cheap. He was made up, far more impressed than I expected. We don't really use the sling as we have our own but the scales themselves are practical, functional and have made his/our fishing trips much easier. Not as impressed with these scales as some of the reviews. They turn off - and lose the weigh sling weight - after one minute. That's not enough time to prepare a decent fish for weighing, so the tare/zero facility is a total waste of time and you still have to do the maths instead.
