    Does what it says

Had a VERY soft concrete floor. So bad everytime I brushed it loads of dust came off. It was laid about 10 years ago. I used 3 coats of this (as I had it) and works brilliantly. Used a soft broom and a bucket to apply and really easy . No smell nothing . The 25l did 3 coats of my large single garage with no problem . Seams to do exactly the same as the market leader brand

    Does the job but ---!

Whilst it did the job, what a mess! Due to weather (rain, therefore high humidity), it took over 4 days to dry on garage floor. It left a white residue that got tread over the paving slabs of the patio and I still haven't managed to remove it completely. It does seem to have sealed the floor but doing the job in the winter was a big mistake. It was, however, excellent value for 25 litres - less than double the price of 5 litres elsewhere.

  • good stuff

Does exactly as promised. Floating the screed brings cement to the surface and this breaks down into powdery dust. The product, applied a good month after screeding, binds this and gives a relatively dust-free surface. I used it as instructed, with 3 coats on the worst part of the floor. The only difficulty I found was the final wash to get rid of uncured sealant, but this isn't the fault of the product, which is a fraction of the price of pva - based sealant from my local large chain store. It seems to be equally effective.

  • Does exactly what it says!!

After moving into a new property, the garage floor constantly had a fine dust almost like talcum powder. Footprints from the dust we’re all over the drive outside or in the car. Trying to sweep just caused clouds of more dust. 3 coats of this has really stabilised the concrete and there is now no dust at all. I used about 15l to cover a 25m2 double garage. Totally recommended!!

  • Was not going to leave review but SERIOUSLY

If your concrete is dusty then it was badly made, laid and cured, good concrete is never dusty. Floating concrete brings the fines (not just the cement) to the surface which in-turns makes the surface harder and denser (hence why older plasterers would mirror finish their work). If you can walk on concrete 24hrs after it was laid...unless it was 10,000psi high strength concrete....or the temperature was a constant 25c plus for the entire 24hrs with the concrete covered to retain the moisture ..it is a very poor job. Concrete cures by hydration and heat, the first 72hrs are critical. This is the 21st century, look it up, there are 1,000 upon 1,000 of papers written on the subject available on the internet. So why did I purchase a 25l barrel, easy the job was done for a gent with a uni-degree, who works on site, yet does not have a basic understanding of concrete, like so many others who believe it to be a labourers job....not a skilled workers profession. Hence why we have a huge need for product like this.

  • Fantastic

Used this stuff today on the garage floor of a fairly new house, tbe dust from the floor was getting everywhere and ruining all my stuff. I used a roller on a pole, applied it quite liberally, left it an hour, the applied again when it looked fairly dry. The following morning I applied once more and let dry completely. The dust has completely stopped and the floor is totally sealed (but looks exactly the same before I started). This stuff is tbe business, not kidding I wish I had done it ages ago. I used about 15 of the 25 liters and I think I did put more down than was needed. This has completely sealed a large double garage wall to wall. Well worth the money to save all the mess and getting your gear wrecked. No crazy solvent smells and zero mess. Really, really easy.

  • CONCRETE HARDENER, DUSTPROOFER, SEALER

Does exactly as it says. I've been using it to seal various concrete items I've been making in moulds like flag/paving stones, wall blocks etc. It sealed the surfaces after 1 generous first coat but I put on a couple more just for extra wear & tear. I also put a few coats on a freshly sanded down doorstep prior to painting and I'm more than confident the paint won't need any maintenance for a very long time.

  • Amazing product

I spent some time trying to find a suitable product to seal the dust coming from the garage floor and prices ranged up to £100. Having read the other reviews I took a gamble with the thought worse thing that can happen is I waste £24. But the gamble paid off the product is fantastic I did 4 layers as I have plenty of product and even then only use half the drum and next door to me were so impressed he asked to buy the other half Deffo worth it and does what it should and can’t beat the price. Delivery was quick as well.

  • .new floor sealant

Given the floor its first coat, applied very easily, will give it a second coat shortly. Exactly what was required to seal the new concrete.
