Makes welding easy.
I bought this, having never welded before. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. My brother is a professional welder, and a really good one at that. He also loves this machine. I needed to repair the rear cover of my axle on my truck, and rather buy a tool and learn to do it, then pay someone else. It took me a few attempts, but once I got the hang of the feed speed for the wire, and how close to hold the tip, it made my welds look like a pro did them. Very nice machine !
Wow.....It did about the smoothest nicest welds that I have seen and right out of the box. Beautiful ! Far and away better than the no name Chinese ebay unit did when it was working. Both of them using solid wire with gas. It made better welds than I was able to get at work using a Miller and Lincoln floor model machine. This one is also a real quality made machine. Hobart 210MVP
I have used other types of welders and this Hobart works great with the optional spool gun and Argon / CO2 gas. I can't wait to get some pure Argon and try it with other types of metal. Awesome Welder!
I spent the last year-and-a-half looking for a great Mig welder I had narrowed down my choice to the Miller 215 which retails for about $1, 800.
